How do you make a ladder rack for a pickup truck? - ladder rack tent
Something that no or only a few holes in the back of the truck needs. It is 1 or 2 steps, so that it only needs a capacity from 200 to 300 lbs. Designed to be easily removed would be nice but not necessary.

Best way I have it with iron rods and square tube channel. Weld then hold with tweezers camper shell on the rail of your pick-up. After removong only a matter of 4 clamps and sliding the frame off. No holes required. Be sure to save a basic non-slip protection under the bar to the collection of paintings and to ensure the frame does not slide back.
