I have 1080i HDTV, can i use a 1080p upconvert DVD player? - 1080p dvd player solid player for the money
Hitachi 50 "Plasma 1080i and want to use a DVD player for upconversion. Most 1080i Upconvert are not really big on features and price, 1080p saw some players. I use the players in this 1080p TV?

Yes, you can - but you can only do 1080i Plasma HDTV because they do not support 1080p.
Always carry a picture of the TV native 1080p resolution, no work, but it only works with 1080i on your TV.
What Neil N means that you save your output to 1080i. But it works.
